The numbers are in and according to Billboard reports, the No. 1 album in the country selling a cool 658,000 in its first week is none other than Drizzy Drake ‘Nothing Was The Same’.  It’s hard to push those numbers out of artist these days.  So we must say congrats to the 26 yr. old Canadian rapper Drake on that accomplishment.  Coming in at No.2 was ‘Mechanical Bull’ by King of Leon.

This album ‘Nothing Was The Same’ has the second-highest sales week so far this year coming in behind Justin Timberlake’s ‘The 20/20 Experience.  ‘Started From The Bottom’ and ‘Hold On, We’re Going Home’ are just a couple of hit singles from the album that has done really well also.

Though Drake has had other albums to top the charts, this album is the first one to do 658K in its first week.
